The Master of Science in Landscape Architecture – Land Landscape Heritage provides a multidisciplinary education that aims to train landscape architects capable of integrating activities specific to landscape projects (in urban, rural and natural contexts) at different scales, with complementary knowledge in the fields of architecture, urban planning, agronomy and forestry, hydraulic and infrastructure engineering, ecology, social sciences, history, archaeology, law, economics and land management.
Landscape Architects who graduates from the Politecnico di Milano will be able to face the challenges of contemporary cities and territories with critical thinking, specific cultural tools, knowledge and technical skills.
The master’s degree focuses on the care and conservation of soil (Land), the interpretation and design of new and evolving landscapes (Landscape), and the knowledge of material and immaterial heritage (Heritage). These topics represent the range of technical, cultural, and political responsibilities at the heart of the master’s degree and subsequent professional practice.
From the academic year 2025-26 onwards, for students starting their studies in September 2025, the programme will only be taught exclusively on the Piacenza campus.
